+$1 PER RECORDED MINUTE FOR VIDEO SUBTITLES
I transcribe interviews, presentation recordings, podcast episodes, and video subtitles. I work on creative, journalistic, and academic projects in all domains. Most of my current clients are graduate students and podcast hosts.
Turnaround times are negotiated individually per project and depend on the length and the quality of the recording.
I can only transcribe works conducted entirely in English.

A BIT ABOUT ME
I'm a graduate of the University of Victoria. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Political Science and Sociology.
I currently live and work on the territories of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples of the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations
I started transcribing when I worked in community radio; I have many friends who regularly conduct interviews for school, work, or for creative projects. I started transcribing initially on a volunteer basis to help them out. I found out I liked the work and started transcribing professionally!
As part of my degree, I took several qualitative and quantitative research methods courses and as such, I am familiar with ethics protocols relevant to interviewing and transcribing.
